Audis: Q5 or A5?

 Audi Q5 TDI Quattro

This particular model is a 2013 Audi Q5 TDI Quattro. Since the first Audi Q5 was introduced in 2011, the SUV market has changed dramatically, with nearly every manufacturer introducing a high-range model. In this time, the Q5 has continuously evolved thanks to tweaks to keep it competitive in what is now a fiercely contested premium SUV market. Today, the Q5 finds itself up against a host of talented rivals, including the BMW X3, Mercedes GLC and Jaguar F-Pace.

What makes the Q5 stand out amongst its competitors? For starters its exterior is very attractive with large 20” alloys, electric tailgate with the rear privacy glass completing the shining white body.

On to the interior. The Q5 has beautiful stitched leather sports seats, fantastic 10 speaker sound system, well laid out high tech dials , 7 inch screen with easy navigation, heated seats and all electric windows and mirrors.

The performance of the Q5 is nothing short of excellent with precise handling, sticking to the road with ease and overall very smooth drive. When this is combined with its comfort, leisure and looks, it becomes extremely appealing in all possible aspects.

Audi A5 S line

This particular model is a 2013 Audi S Line. The S Line trim is the mid-range model, providing you with plenty of standard equipment. You can tell the difference between the S Line trim and other models in the range thanks to a subtle bodykit and distinct alloy wheel designs.

The lowered driving height helps to separate the sporty trim from the rest of the range. The addition of that restrained bodykit adds extra style and overall attractiveness to this motor. Along with the exterior design having a big part to play, the interior is also very modern and stylish as well as it being a very smooth driving motor with many engine options to suit you.

The S Line is available as either a two-door coupe or five-door Sportback model, with a wide range of engine choices from a 1.8-litre TFSI petrol to a 3.0-litre TDI diesel. This shows that there’s an Audi A5 out there for everyone  with it‘s many different versions.

Mercedes: CLS vs S Class

CLS 250 Powered by a twin-turbo 2.1-litre diesel engine with 201bhp and 369lb ft of torque, the CLS 250 CDI not only has more than adequate performance but also gives usefully lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions than any of its six-pot siblings. This diesel is more refined than any other Mercs and in any case, everything becomes silky and quiet when it reaches over the 30mph mark, aided by a very smooth seven-speed paddle-shift automatic gearbox. Along with this, with so much torque, its in-gear performance is very impressive. One of the CLS’s biggest attributes is its eye catching cabin. Its shallow windows create a coupé-like scenery and it has enough extra luxury features to make it feel more high-end than an E-class. The CLS is also noticeably more agile than the equivalent E-class; you wouldn’t call it sporty, but it’s highly satisfying to drive – and not just at speed on a motorway. Well worth purchasing as a cheaper version with many of the same aspects making t...

Focus vs RS

Ford Focus   This particular model is a 2010 Ford Focus. The focus was first introduced in 1988. The car had everything, from its combination of dashing looks, flexible packaging and engaging handling, the focus was up there with the very best. Twenty years and four generations later, the Focus can still be found at the top of its game.   The Ford Focus can be seen as a competitively priced family hatchback as well as having attention given to driver enjoyment and driving quality, along with interior space and practicality. A good range of petrol and diesel engines compliments the car even more meaning people can choose the type of focus which suits them best. In terms of size, the Ford Focus sits neatly between the smaller Ford Fiesta and large Ford Mondeo. There’s also an estate version of the Ford Focus if you need even more space and practicality.   Overall an extremely worthy car to rely on, competitively priced against it’s biggest competito...

BMW: X5 vs 5 Series

X5 The latest BMW X5 adds to the appeal of its predecessors with new platform engineering that sees a significant tech upgrade to infotainment and safety systems, but also brings improvements to practicality and design. The X5’s styling is crisp and contemporary, with a luxurious interior that moves the game on considerably in the latest BMW style. There are limited engine choices, but each version delivers admirable performance and efficiency. The addition of an Off Road package brings an extra dimension to the X5 as well, although the focus is still very much on-road handling and performance.  The origional was launched way back in 1999, which was notable for helping to popularise the concept of an SUV with four-wheel drive and a chassis set up exclusively for swift road use. There are two trim levels to pick from. The xLine comes with 19-inch alloys, LED headlights and tail-lamps, air suspension and luxuries such as heated leather seats, parking assist and wireles...
