Jaguar XJ6
The model included power-assisted steering and leather
textile coverings, as well as air conditioning. Advertisements focusing on this
car when it came out included quotes such as "the finest Jaguar
ever".
An unusual feature inherited from the Mark X and S-Type
saloons was the twin fuel tanks, positioned on each side of the boot, bringing
a unique factor to the motor. The car was clearly a success in many departments
years ago, but even recent reviews of the car were favourable, noting the
effective brakes and smooth quality on the road was surprising for an older
vehicle.
Jaguar XF
Luxury
The Jaguar XF that arrived in 2007 was the first car for sale
in Jaguar dealers that saw the British company move away from the retro looks
of past models to a new, more modern appearance.
In April 2011, Jaguar revealed the details of a facelift for
the XF at the New York International Auto Show, with manufacturing beginning in
July 2011.
The facelift includes front and rear styling changes which
are based on the original Jaguar C-XF concept car, internal trim enhancements,
adaptive cruise control, and a new four-cylinder 187 hp, 2.2-litre diesel
engine, which is combined with a new eight-speed automatic transmission.
Overall, the Jaguar XF has a very solid driving performance,
modern interior design and technology, practicality, comfort, as well as being
a reliable everyday car, showing how the Jaguar has evolved in modern times.
